I honestly don't see the MC or hypnosis in this as it looks like she's doing this for fun
The thing about haigure in general is that it canonically appears in exactly one source, and in that source is indicative of someone being mind-controlled. In fanworks, I've never seen any narrative where it's not indicative of mind control. I'm not a fan of haigure, but it's at least as legitimate a mind-control signifier as the "zombie walk", if one with a less venerable pedigree. Sure, the person could just be walking with their arms outstretched for the hell of it, but it functions as a signifier.
