In my defense I haven't played darkstalkers and 'Ririsu' just got translated as 'Lilith,' so I assumed Vega was the appropriate name. Also I googled up Vega and there was a 'Vega' in street fighter too ><

Yes, there is. The names of the characters M. Bison, Vega, and Balrog all got shuffled around for the English release. I think it stemmed from US Capcom being afraid that they'd get sued by Mike Tyson if they left the black boxer's name as "M. Bison", so he became Balrog, the Spanish ninja became Vega, and the Shadaloo leader became M. Bison.
So, yeah, she IS saying Vega, and that's correct for the Japanese, but for us Westerners, she's referring to M. Bison.
