From an in universe perspective, there is nothing "immoral" about Black Magic. It isn't a "Dark Art", it's simply offensive magic. Something that is highly beneficial due to the fact monsters swarm non settled areas.
Of course! But it's not called a "Black Mage" because the magic isn't considered "dark". It's a universally destructive type of magic. In a lot of fantasy, that's usually what "Dark Magic" is, and it's often times considered the least moral type of magic.

And I agree that in most settings that would be considered a "dark" form of magic, however those settings lack the insane monster outbreaks in the wilderness. Even in Harry Potter, which has a clearly defined set of spells that are considered "Dark Arts", normal offensive spells aren't labeled as such.
