Some extremely adventurous Elven alchemists undertake a long journey into the deep corners of the great forests, searching for the mystical mushroom gardens of the fay. Many valuable ingredients can be found there, but the most-sought-after is the pink colored ‘Crazed Bliss.’

It’s not only an integral part of the most powerful love potions, but harvesting the mushroom also releases a dense cloud of spores. Those act as a highly effective aphrodisiac which overwhelms the minds of even the strongest and sends them in a sexual frenzy lasting for days, their body sustained by fay magic.

Every returning alchemist is a changed (and soon very rich) person with a notably higher sex drive. Some even theorize that a few spores remain permanently on their skin, subtly influencing all around them.

Unsurprisingly this doesn’t seem to harm the sale of their love potions at all.
