It runs in the family. so I am told. The Vaims have fallen prey to one vice or another. It dominates us. It DRIVES us. I myself, fall prey to envy in one way or another. I admire the artist, the works they craft. When they forge a symphony, or weave a tapestry, it is simply divine. I MUST have it. I MUST have them. To immortalize them as part of the artwork they so rightfully devote their entire being to. As for my sister. She seems more interested in herself than anything worth admiring. Every gorgeous specimen she takes under her wing eventually becomes more of HER. As if there is any value in what's effectively forging a hall of mirrors. Though she and I have our differences, there is our one constant thread we both share. The Hunger. All encompassing, unceasing, insatiable. Vaims HUNGER for control. For Power. For weaving the fabrics of our prey's mind and sewing an entirely new tapestry from what they one were. It's incredible, it's delectable, it's crass. While my sister revels in that compulsion, I prefer to resist my baser temptations.... But even I fall prey to the need to empty someone's mind and fill it with utter devotion. such as my former security guard here. I found him shortly after My sister stumbled across him in my art gallery. He could have ended up another worthless 'vaimling' as she calls it. Tsk. But then selene whispered in my ear. The promise of making something beautiful out of my guard... They weren't very good at guarding anyway... now a velvet mannequin, ready to wear whatever I desire... that sounds...closer to my speed. and once again, I found myself whispering in their ears, gazing into their gradually distant expressions, succumbing to the Hunger and Habit of my namesake. and Behold, Obedience in velvet. the latest addition to my collection, generously donated by my sister. Selene Vaim.
Go ahead. touch it. it's an interactive piece.[/spoiler]
