Long time lurker here, this is my first attempt at actual content here. Open to criticism, I think I may have spent too long getting into the good stuff.

This is good, but as a minor nitpick, why is the guy immune to the gases? If it's filling the whole room, shouldn't they both go under from it?

Maybe he's not ;)
But actually, I was considering making it a point of "it only affects girls" but that was too cheap and easy. I decided to leave it up to readers choice on that part. Maybe it takes longer to affect boys and the story cuts off before we see it, who knows. It's up to you!
