Honestly the zombie thing could work if you have one of the new slaves being technically inclined and wanting to make a modification to the brainwashing booth to attempt to give it range to try to reclaim any other harem outposts and it would be able to get them before they could alert any one else there. Then while testing it there was a some kind of glitch or the file they're using gets corrupted which causes it to emit the zombie programming.

@Latios Agreed, about the green one. My favorite type of mind control by far. A slave who's so deeply in their owner's pocket that they can be trusted with their autonomy back is much more exciting than a slave who's only obedient because they're under some kind of active control. Glad you like the dragon story idea, and interesting to hear about your scrapped one too. About not being a fan of the 'zombie aesthetic', me neither. I just used it as a shorthand, but the way I actually intend to portray the trance is less zombie-like and more like a Black Friday crowd if their Master was a 80% off discount.

@Flesh I like the 'contingency trigger going haywire' suggestion, I might go with that. Something lying dormant in all of them already, so it can spread from member to member just by hearing the trigger phrase.
