Rules of Conduct (Forum ver.)
Recently, there's been a large increase of drama and negativity on the forums. We (Henry and I) are fairly certain this increase is in large part due to the coinciding increase in shitposting, useless threads, trolling, flaming, and threads that are probably a wee bit too personal for the forums of a fetish site.

To combat this climb in troubles, we believe that it would be a good idea to refocus the forums on their intended usage. So, starting today, we have new rules to loosely govern the types of threads and posts that can and cannot be made:

The Forum Rules are now considered the Rules of Conduct (Forum version). A general version of the Rules of Conduct will also apply to the comments in HypnoHub's gallery (where applicable), starting today, and can be found [[help:rules of conduct|here]]. The Forum version of the Rules of Conduct contains additional rules that only apply to the Forums (such as the rule about thread titles, which comments don't have).
For the Comments Version of the Rules of Conduct, click [[help:rules of conduct|here]].

* Threads without a clear topic and purpose are not to be posted. Random nonsense posts belong only on the <<hypnohub.net/forum/show/2913|Hello! thread>>.

* Threads must have titles that some way express the topic of the thread. No vague clickbait titles.

* Threads with a particularly high chance of causing drama due to their extremely sensitive topics are not to be posted.

* Threads directed at a single user are not to be posted.

* Threads about exceptionally private matters are not to be posted.
** Exceptions might be made for things like a personal emergency on GoFundMe or something similar. Contact <<hypnohub.net/user/show/1535|Henry-killenger>> for permission before posting things like that.

* Streaming threads are to be contained to one thread per streamer. The threads can be edited when new streams are planned.
** This was previously a courtesy we asked of our streamers. We're now making this an actual rule.

* Threads must remain at least tangentially on topic. Hopelessly off topic threads may be locked if they cannot be refocused.

* Threads regarding suicide (ie suicide threats) will be locked or deleted, and the user who posted the thread will be banned so that they can take time away from the site to better focus on and handle their situation. Repeated offenses may result in a permanent ban for the sake of both the poster's and the Hub's well-being.

Threads that break these rules may be deleted or locked, with or without warning and notice, and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

<<hypnohub.net/user/show/1535|Henry-killenger>> decided to handle forum administration duties himself, so please direct any forum-related questions and concerns to him.

In addition, we're implementing new punishment guidelines for breaking the Rules of Conduct. Note that these are guidelines. The punishments are still ultimately decided by HypnoHub staff case-by-case, but these guidelines serve as a good basis for what to expect.

* First Infraction: 7-day Ban
* Second Infraction: 14-day Ban
* Third Infraction: 30-day Ban
* Fourth Infraction: Perma-ban

Note: Warnings may be given for more minor infractions if the user has yet to be banned for breaking the Rules of Conduct.. If you have, it's more than likely that you will not receive another.
