Is there a tag for this sort of controlled sub is still cheerfully snarking/defiant/sort-of-in-control thing? I can think of a few other pictures but the closest tag is "humor" plus "aware" which isn't a great fit.

Yeah there is, just search by Cradily_(manipper) =P

But seriously I don't think so, maybe you can suggest it in the Tags Thread in the forums? But then be careful to not get into the rabbit hole of labeling each 'type' of story for each text image, which would lead to even more problems

I'm with you. I vastly prefer subs who still have a distinct personality even after they're being controlled. So much more than the mindless obedience that's easier but also gets repetitive.
