I suspect the breakneck pace of the events didn't help. If someone was theoretically participating as fully as the developers presumably wanted, they probably burned out six months ago because neither their brain nor their wallet ever had time to recover.

That was probably another major issue, gacha burnout is a pretty big thing for some people. So bad rates+not that much free currency+playing catchup= A major disaster.
I still wish it was just a bit better, because then I'd have played it more. The girls are still super cute!
