As her plans to get a new job didn't play out as she wanted, Sleepy has continued drawing new pages for her Squid-Ops web comic after 6 weeks of inactivity. Just letting you guys know in case you didn't know already.
I don't plan on uploading any more pages of the comic, plase follow the source link if you want to read more. The next page was uploaded some hours ago BTW.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to give this comic a third chance. In any case, there doesn't seem to be any hypnosis on this page, so it can't be here by itself.

I have the worst memory; but if this is the picture I think it was, the person in the middle had blank eyes, and the counting seemed to be implying an induction.

There was counting and a character with empty eyes, but the counting seemed to be coming from one of the characters in the foreground, neither of which were looking at the character in the background with empty eyes, who was also drawn slightly chibi-fied. So, the empty eyes on the character just looked like the simplistic eyes you see in that kind of art style. The fact that there was no sub/dom or eye tags on the pic just solidified my assumption that there was no hypnotism going on in it.

There actually was hypnosis in the image as the character in the middle is in a trance and about to be waken up (which happens in the next page).

Strictly speaking, the title page itself does go into the joke side, but the text is hypnosis-themed, as the next page involves Lena being woken from her trance to a nice hypno-surprise^^.

So, I just read and caught up to the whole thing. Pretty good, but I'm a little torn. There's some things I like (some things I really like) and some things I don't like. (Tessu's already the brainwashed slave of the villainess? She was my favorite character in the first 2 versions, and all the fun stuff has already happened to her? Whyyyyyyyyy? T_T) I'm interested enough to keep on reading, and I'd like to buy at least a couple chapters, but... is something wrong with the site Sleepymaid's using? I clicked on the link to buy one of the chapters just to see how much it was, and the page I got looked totally corrupted. It was mostly blank with a bunch of text that looks like HTML formatting. I can't figure out anything on it. I even cleared my cache, and that didn't fix it. Is it always like this, or is it experiencing some kind of error right now?

Well, Ribbon IS famous for causing all sorts of problems and errors. Pretty much the only reason Sleepy switched to it for hosting the comic is that Ribbon allows 18+ stuff which means that she can give the comic a more "mature" storyline (otherwise it would have remained SFW like the first 3 chapters). I'd try again later once the errors are fixed.

Ouch, that's not good. I didn't know Ribbon was being so troublesome for everyone else too :(
Might have to reconsider the tradeoffs of reliability and quality service vs getting to have porn.
