What I was going for was that I find it weirdly appealing when a woman who could realistically have almost anyone she wants still feels compelled and willing to pay money to get someone's attention.

All good. I just didn't know the term, never heard it before. I'd say it's a little different for Lois as it isn't love for Dina D herself that's driving this, it's love of what Dina D can make her feel.
