I myself consider it death but i have only played the demo and got one shotted my Nemesis, so i don't know anything about these things.

Basically they are part of a super mutated zombie that puts this thing on your head and eventually after a few seconds turns you into a zombie with that thing on your head just like them. It gives you the game over, and you see Jill stumble around mindlessly like other zombies.

No, more of it's a parasite that took control of her body. Roanoke gaming believed it basically hijacked every sense in her body, so she's alive, but she's more of just supressed in there or something. Not dead, but it did take control of her body.

Canon lore trumps hearsay from YouTubers, when it comes to the rulings for images that require the "involves series specific cases of MC that require knowledge of the series to know is MC" rule to have any chance of staying up on the site. As such, Roanoke gaming's theory has to be canon lore for us to rule on the info of his theory in this regard.

Canon wise the parasite is a NE-Alpha parasite, which slowly takes over the hosts nervous system first, therefore she is still alive after the initial attachment but doesn't have control over her body. It's unknown what happens to the host after the process though.

He doesn't just make theories, he speculates how monsters and stuff evolve and such. And as s42ftw said, it is true. The guy looks into lore of stuff as well as pieces together how they evolve and work.

I'd see after completing the take over the facehugger completely replaces the victims consciousness and falls off since it's no longer needed to control the victim
