Here, have a two-parter. Now, I won't judge anyone if these won't stay on the Hub on grounds of insufficient MC content, but felt like I should at least let others decide.

It's the second one that's iffy on the MC. This one clearly has the theme running.

On the second one, it's a touch nonsensical to have a creature that goes into heat but also mates for life, afaik, the point of going into heat is being able to find a mate quickly and only when needed.

And that's what I get for not paying any attention during biology class. Note to self; do research so as to not inform everyone and their mother of your ignorance.

I always enjoy when someone tries to bring logic into drawn/written porn. :P

Not really. Plenty of animals mate for life but still have heat cycles, wolves for instance. The point of heat in those cases is to ensure that all the mating happens when the female is fertile and time and energy aren't spent on mating when she isn't.

I never would have thought that taking a walk could change your life so much. Had I known what was going to happen, I'm certain I would have done the same regardless. In fact, it felt like some kind of fate that brought me to that forest that day...

Anyway, to start from the beginning, I got this weird temptation to go for a stroll in the nearby woods, alone, despite not being all that familiar with the region. For some reason I even thought to bring my camera along. At one point during my trek I dropped my lens cover, and while I was looking for it, I felt something bump into me and heard a splash from the pond next to me. Thinking it might have been a frightened deer, I can hardly describe my surprise to see a beautiful, naked woman lying face first in the pond. By the time I recovered from the initial shock, she was already making apologies for walking right over me. She said she was Karya, a dryad living in those woods, and for some reason I didn't even think to doubt that claim...

Our conversation eventually drifted to the forest itself, and I quickly found myself listening to Karya's every word with growing curiosity. She taught me to appreciate the forest with all my senses, to listen to the calming sounds of wind blowing and birds singing. As she talked, I could feel her words soothe both my mind and body. She then opened my eyes to the various scents of the woods, the fresh fragrance of budding new life in spring, the heavy scent of pollen in summer, the faint aroma of decaying leaves in autumn, and the lack of smells in winter, when the forest slept. As Karya explained these things to me, I realized they all had a charm of their own, one I simply couldn't get enough of. Then we talked about the wind and rain, how they were also a part of the forest, sometimes gently caressing your face, sometimes forcefully touching you all over, almost like a lover... Sometimes caring, sometimes rough, but never wishing you any harm. Finally, Karya moved on to actually looking at the forest, and I saw it in all its splendor... The mighty trees, the smallest saplings... It was at that moment that I realized I wanted to come to these woods again, to witness them in all the different varieties they had to offer...

Karya gladly agreed to be my guide when I would return, and for some reason the thought of getting to meet her again made me want to burst into dance.
