Darkseid saw much potential in Aile after a long fought battle between the two. With him victorious he had the scientists on Apokolips corrupt her Bio-Metals Model X and Model O and now her power instead of being used to protect is now being used to enslave

Melona was an intresting creature to Darksied. She was immnue to physical damage and she could shape shift into anything she could imagine. Plus her body could create many different Acids
She now will be put to much better use as Fury killing for Darksied
