I mean what struck me is that this appears to be taking place in some kind of cave, so I wondered what was up with that.

My assumption was that the girl on the right was some kind plucky adventurer or investigator who was looking for the way into the bad guys' lair. And that the robot/cyborg/person with weird headgear, was the guard of the place. Maybe they hit it off after the adventure ended.

robot lady is actually a geologist in an environmental suit. They're two seperate characters from seperate universes so there's no real tie in for them being together in actual canon. My character on the right is an inventor from the elizabethian early western era.
