Accompanying story written by commissioner OmegaMysterium:

“PUPPY! GREY? AMIGOS?! ARE YOU OUT THERE?”

Gustav sighed and leaned against the trunk of the great tree, absent-mindedly playing with a stick as he looked out over the jungle floor below. Nobody answered him aside from a flock of birds taking off, disturbed by the noise. He doubted his friends would have heard him anyway, there was no guarantee they were even nearby.

Earlier in the day Gustav decided to go skinny-dipping in the jungle river as Grey took Omega on another tree-top adventure through the jungle. The water was warm and the current gentle, and it wasn’t long before the rhino had drifted off to sleep on an inflatable raft, sunning his muscular body. But that was hours ago. Gustav had woken to being tipped unceremoniously into the water, his raft punctured, and dusk rapidly setting in. He’d tried his best to make his way back by following the river, but he quickly realised it wouldn’t be safe to blindly stumble along in the dark in nothing but his birthday suit.

In the end, he’d found the tallest tree he could, scaled it with great difficulty, and settled himself on a branch. It was a hard, knobbly bed, but at least he had a good view up here. His mind began to wander, thinking back to his friends. It had not been that long ago that Omega had been lost in the jungle, albeit a very different one far away on a deserted island. Thankfully, he’d found been found and looked after by Grey. But all the time Omega had been lost, Gustav had been going mad with worry.

“Don’t worry puppy,” he mumbled to himself. “I can look out for myself.”

Above him, some leaves rustled. Gustav looked over his shoulder but could only see branches and darkness in the canopy. He shrugged it off, turning back to his stick. He’d chosen the tree not only as a vantage point, but also to get away from the jungle floor. Grey had warned them that every jungle had its dangers, especially after darkness fell. Getting up the tree had been difficult, but at least he was safe from predators up here, wasn’t he?

How very wrong he was.

Silently, the leaves and branches shifted again. A large head poked its way through the leaves, staring down at the rhino with piercing yellow eyes. A shaft of moonlight caught its scaled body as it slivered out to observe the newcomer, reflecting green, yellow and gold. The Guardian who had long watched over the island Grey had once called home cocked his head, watching Gustav intently.

It was not often the Guardian left the island. He might every so often to visit other ruins or to check up on and occasionally toy with his former bodyguard, but tonight it had simply been a whim. A desire for a change of scenery or find himself a mortal to entertain himself with. He certainly hadn’t expected one such mortal to present themselves to him mere feet below where he’d curled up to rest. He blinked at the rhino, sizing him up. He seemed downcast, worried. He’d been separated from his friends and was now all alone, naked in the depths of the jungle.

The Guardian and smiled a wicked smile as an idea came to him. Oh no, that simply wouldn’t do! The rhino wouldn’t be alone, stressed or uncomfortable for long! I’ll ssssoon sssee to that, he chuckled softly to himself as he advanced on his prey.

“Greetingssss…”

Gustav whirled around with a start to see the great snake looming over him. He was about to cry out in alarm, but it never passed his lips. His attention was drawn to the snake’s eyes. They seemed to glow, sparkling like moons in the darkness. Not only that, but they seemed to be changing colour; yellow… purple… blue… repeating over and over again in endless spirals radiating from the snake’s pupils. They tugged at his mind, ever so gently and strangely soothing as his field of vision shrunk to focus only on the spiralling eyes looming above him.

The Guardian chuckled. Obviously, the wrestler was already very captivated by what he was seeing. “Sssay now…” he hissed seductively. “What have we here?”

Gustav didn’t answer; he just continued to stare, his mouth hanging ajar as his own pupils shrank to pinpricks and the beginnings of a yellow spiral blossomed in each one. The snake grinned even wider as spirals began to fill his new plaything’s eyes. He knew he could easily put the rhino in a trance in mere seconds, but doing it this way was far more entertaining.

“It’sss a rhino,” the snake sand melodically, his great tail making its way around the trunk of the great tree and sliding its way over Gustav’s lap. “A big sssexy rhino…”

Gustav blushed slightly, but barely even registered it. He was too lost in the snake’s eyes to notice much else. By now, his own eyes had blossomed into spinning pools of colour, reflecting the serpent’s. As the snake swayed from side to side, he followed, his head dragged around by his hypnotic gaze. Unconsciously, his body moved with him. Where he’d once been sat sideways on the branch, the snake’s movements had dragged him around so his lungs hung either side of the branch, his arms limp at his sides as the coil completed the first loop around his body. The longer he stared, the giddier and more light-headed he felt. It was if the world around him was falling away for him to focus only on the snake and his swirling eyes. All the while, the Guardian’s tail continued to curl around him, the sensations and massaging action of the coils sliding over his thick muscled body bringing a soft sigh from his lips.

“Yess… that’sss a good boy…” The Guardian grinned down at Gustav as he continued his dance, toying with his prey by making random motions and strange faces. This kept his new toy from thinking straight, and it was so amusing to watch him mirror his expressions. “Are you lossst little one?” He moved closer to the rhino to enhance the hypnotic effect, bobbing his head to make Gustav nod sluggishly. “Ssseperated from your friendsss no doubt?” The rhino nodded again, this time unbidden. “Do not worry, my dear little rhino. I will take good care of you… No need to fear; no need to worry; you are perfectly sssafe here with me…” He pressed his face right up to Gustav’s so they were both nose-to-nose. His eyes spun faster and faster, his forked tongue flicking out to taste the rhino’s muzzle.

Gustav wasn’t entirely sure what was happening anymore. He’d forgotten all about being lost, his worries, his friends who were out there looking for him. All he was interested in right now was the snake, continuing to stare deep into his colourful eyes, and how his soft sultry voice soothed him. The snake had an air of authority, almost like a teacher or guide. It felt strangely natural to allow him to take control, to almost willingly submit to him. The rhino lacked the mental or physical capacity to move as the snake’s long tail continued to wrap around him, giving him little squeezes at intervals to emphasize the power the he had over him. Part of him still resisted, struggling in vain against the overwhelming urge to sink into the python’s power and keep staring into the beautiful eyes. It felt so good just stare into them and drink in the colours, his mind becoming increasingly empty as his will slowly ebbed away. The coils felt wonderfully comfortable. He was safe and secure in their grasp; and the more of his body they covered, the greater the pleasure he felt.

The Guardian grinned as he continued to work on Gustav. This was far more entertaining than he’d expected, but all good things must come to an end. It wouldn’t be much longer before the rhino was his, and it wouldn’t take much to coax him into a trance. Not that the he wouldn’t be a fun toy once he was, but the Guardian did love entrancing his victims. Another wicked idea sprung to mind as his tail circled higher up to Gustav’s neck. “That’sss right my good boy… relax… give yoursssself to me and become mine…”

Gustav’s mind felt like it was running in slow motion. His thoughts were hushed as his body and mind were filled with the pleasure of the spirals, voice and coils that threatened to engulf him completely. His resistance was waning; the Guardian’s power was too great. He was being massaged, caressed and soothed all over and brought farther away from reality than ever before. But he didn’t want to resist anymore. He didn’t want to think anymore. It was so easy to give in, to let the snake take control. And it felt so good to submit to the snake’s power; so why not let himself be claimed? He could feel the tail circling his neck. From the depths of his hypnosis-addled mind, one face floated to the surface. One last reminder of reality and the true situation he was in. Words did not come easily as he approached the threshold, but one did manage to escape his lips as he mumbled: “P-puppy…”

“Husssh…”
The tail pulled itself taught, tightening around his neck. Gustav’s drooping eyes bulged wide in last spasm of recognition as he gulped loudly, the shock bringing his hypnosis-addled mind a little way back to reality. He was helpless. He was completely under the snake’s power. The coils surrounding him tightened, squeezing him all over from legs to neck. He couldn’t fight back or resist the serpent’s advances anymore. But he didn’t want to. The Guardian’s eyes quickly moved into his field of vision, spiralling at an amazing rate now and removing all thoughts from his head. The tail tip circled his neck once more, tucking itself under his chin. It wasn’t painful or unpleasant. Far from it! It felt wonderful! It was as if the snake had placed a snug collar around his neck, claiming him like pet.

“Husssh now, my good boy,” the Guardian cooed as he squeezed his prize a little tighter. “No more talking. Good boysss are quiet and happy… they ssspeak when ssspoken to. All you need do now is relax… let go of thossse pesssky thoughtsss and let them float away… good boysss do not think. Their massster thinks for them. You are mine, now my good boy. So husssh… give in… become mine…”

The coax was more than enough. Gustav’s mind was completely overwhelmed by the spiralling colour as the snake finally claimed his prize. A “PING!” sounded in Gustav’s mind and he went as stiff and rigid as a board, a broad helpless grin spreading across his face. Thoughts vanished from his mind, replaced only by blissful happiness and pleasure. His powerful body fully relaxed, sinking back into the bed of coils his master had spun around him, now only his smiling face and legs poking out. He was now his. And he loved it!

The Guardian smiled as his eyes slowly returned to normal. He gently lifted the rhino’s bulky body off of the tree to get in a more convenient and comfortable position. His smooth, muscle-bound body felt so good tucked between his coils. And so wonderfully warm! Mammals made such good bodywarmers on chilly jungle nights. He let his coils relax a little, allowing the rhino to get comfortable while holding his limp, naked body nice and secure. The rhino looked so happy and peaceful, and that goofy grin was simply adorable!

“Mmm that’sss much better isssn’t it my dear little rhino?” The Guardian hissed, his bobbing coils making Gustav nod once more. “Although It ssseems you were missstaken… you couldn’t look out for yourssself, could you?” His tail tip guided Gustav’s chin like a puppeteer, making him shake his head a little. All the while Gustav continued to smile broadly, eyes filled with beautiful colour as he looked at his new master with utter devotion.

“Not to worry, my preciousss little thing… we will find your friendsss in the morning. Until then… I will keep you sssafe and sssound. Do not worry, you’ll most certainly be here in the morning…” he leaned in to give his prize a little peck on the cheek. “And you’ll be well ressssted!”
