Yeah, I remember a time when hypnopics-collective was the only hypnofetish site I could rely on. I'd seen all the stupid Anton productions stuff and it never was hot to me. Then eventually I found hypnochan, and after that closed I heard about hypnobooru somewhere out there. Probably a link from someone on DeviantArt. Jimryu perhaps. And the switch from the booru to here was pretty much seamless.

I know what you mean. I am pretty glad about how far we've come. I can't help but think that we can go further but for a niche, this is quite something on its own. Now that HH is up, I could hardly think about going back to the collective. If the Hub were to go down the way HC did then I think we'd all probably go insane.

With how much work it was to set this thing up the first time? Yes. I would go insane, personally. :P Though, one could argue that I'm already pretty nuts.

This site is like...mine and Mindwipe's pet project. We love the hell out of it.

It'd be nice to have this place grow, but it's not like a business where you can just move capital around and boost production, or invest in a social networking campaign. It's a collective. Or perhaps a community would be the best description.

Perhaps people with a little free time and perhaps a little cash (and cachet) could set up some contests here, or a manip of the month, to try and incentivize all the talent we're so lucky to have.

I've been considering commissioning some works, but the thing is, I don't have a lot of money, and I don't have great art ideas either. What I'd really like to do is just freaking donate to a community chest and Vanndril and Mindwipe can do as they please with it as long as it's to help keep the community going.

I know some of you may not like the pic or the fact that it's from Hypnopic-Collective, but I put this here because I think that there should be more MK-related hypnosis, especially when certain characters, like Kitana for instance, are usually controlled by another character in certain games in the series.
