There isn't much to say. An unexpected side-effect of the hypnotic juggling is to remind Akane of her mother when she was juggling.
I think it's an episode where Akane try to win her own fight instead of relying on Ranma or others.

I think you're correct.

However, I'm pretty sure that this episode was filler. Sad really.
