Why not a Brain Jacker? I actually played through a very old yugioh game for the gba lately, and it had a mission to mind control 10 monsters. And the opponent for the challenge played a waifu deck. It was a pretty hot mission (: I had situations like using mind control on their set monster, flipping it up to reveal aussa the earth charmer, which could then mind control their Gemini Elf, which I sacrificed for Enemy Controller to take their Magicians Valkyrie.

Targetin' a Brain Jacker means that it's effect was negated, it's flip effect didn't have any target since it's not on Alexis (might be on another lass), or it wasn't set for whatever reason. Usin' a Tainted Wisdom seemed more appropiant to me and less wastefull of another usefull mind control card.

Super Rush Headlong
That's a kinda boring card, I'd expected it to be mind control themed (and yugioh does have more than enough of these cards).
