Not bad, but I think it would look better with some shading. Currently, I think I'd lean toward liking your sketch better. The simple color pallet here makes it look a little...what's the word...flat? Just my 2 cents.

Really like the shift to digital, the clean look is so much better.

EDIT: With Gadget, that's probably not Kaa, it's just a regular-sized garden snake :p
