Like in every anime with Children Cardgames, they always have MC or Corrupted people.

This pic is from Episode 26 of Shadowverse, apparently a Dark aura are possesed some people and become evil or zombie (remind me a lot that Saga of GX when the entire students are zombies)

there's a card how possesed other monsters when they destroy, this Valkyrie or whatever getting possesed by that aura.
