The sub kinda looks like Dennis Nedry from Jurassic Park.

Wait... that isn’t Steven? Looking closely and thinking it over I can see how this wouldn’t be Steven. In canon we have seen Steven at many ages thanks to “to many birthdays” So we know what Steven “should” look like... roughly. We already know Steven doesn’t wear glasses. There is also the slight difference in weight distribution. Steven was fairly average not Mt Muscle, but not Slim Jim either. The sub on the other hand looks... Stockier? I guess like someone partway through their “average nerd to football jock” transformation. Like he’s been eating heavy meals and using them to build muscle.

Tbh, Steven’s a better person to be compared to than Nedry... while Steven’s a traumatised boi, Nedry’s just an ass.
