As someone who is biased in favour of Meiling, this is really good! Granted I think the actual hypnosis happened a little fast but the eyes changing colour was hot, as was the other outfit so I ain't complaining. (Also not the biggest fan of "Meiling is Lazy" jokes but it's something you get used to lmao. Besides it did lead to a funny introductuon)
I think I get what you mean, I feel like some jokes just rubbed off on me from being in the community
Guess it's kind of like memes in a way. At first they might get a laugh, but overuse just makes it tired and repeative. With how many 2hous and how old the series is, a lot of the same jokes just kind of pop up, regradless or canonity. (for example, like Meiling lazy doesn't work well for me when Komachi is actually lazy at her job (no hate to her, she is also a super fun character). And Sakuya getting upset is ironcally opposite of canon where in 12.3 she assumes Meiling had heatstroke and brings her inside. Or Sakuya pad jokes. of course, I still enjoy a lot of the content the community produces. Just some jokes are a little old nowadays.

also whatever thoughts I had on this video Oshachu already said (especially with how fast she was hypnotized) also thought part two was great aside from the rough animation when Meiling is going slow I don't really notice it too much once she goes a little faster in the end but the only small thing that weirdly and deeply disturbed me was how slow but fast Meiling slides to her left.

i mean, those kind of jokes are slightly more original than the "Sakuya needs breast pads" jokes, thank god they went out of style years ago

I was gonna mention those actually, along with Kaguya Neet jokes and "Help me erein" jokes but in the end I decided not to as to not waste other people's time. I love the Touhou fandom and what they've made but at the same time I raise an eyebrow a lot.
