The tags are biologycal things, malesub are for biological males, so for people that want to see dicks, that's why I ask if malesub apply here when it's a genderswapped version. About Astolfo, he's a man that like crossdressing, but he really just doesnt care about genre.

In the dub I believe he still refers to himself as male, but says that he just likes wearing cute clothes, and doesn't care if it's masculine or feminine clothing.

In the original JAPANESE I'm not sure, because even if that line is there you'd also have the factor of whichever first person pronoun Astolfo uses.

Astolfo is male, that's a fact
However he is female here, but that's because of hypnosis, so i put both malesub and femsub just in case as both technically apply

Astolfo is a male who crossdresses. He's not like D'ion who can change their gender because their legend doesn't specify that the Chevalier was a male or a female.Atolfo was encouraged to try women's clothing by Roland after one of his usual benders and they boy caught the crossdressing bug. (In F/GO he can be effected by skills that target men, but not skills that target women.)
