I know wisdom is a dump stat for most martial characters, but this is why you should invest in at least the Resilient (Wis) feat. You never know when a tricky spellcaster is going to make your party's tank into her new knight doll!

I think int and cha are dumped more often to be honest.
Or str too, when it's not a str based martial class.

That said, you just listed a great reason to dump wisdom instead.

Now I'm imagining a Barbarian that's dumped *all* the mental stats and is just super susceptible to all forms of control (including slightly confusing riddles)

So, the average barbarian? Though I also like the idea of someone literally being too dumb to hypnotize. If there's not enough mind, how can you control it?

Funny enough I had this happen to a character I played a long while back. This was during the time Dwarf was a class. Think the board game I bought wad Zanzertem's Dungeon. Anyway not in that game but using those rules from that era played a game where my dwarf had 18 strength and 3 int...lol. When fighting vampires he was the only one that successfully resisted the vampires charm skill and mind control every time. After a while we just started joking that he was just to dumb to be mind controllered lol.
