It's not just Mindwipe's preference. I think that most of us prefer higher resolution images. I know that I do.

Actually, jagged outlines like this are usually caused by shrinking a very large image in some crude way. Pics tend to get blurry when they're upscaled. But it really does seem like Jimryu is punishing casual viewers of his art. The only way to get a high quality pic from him is to commission one. Otherwise, you get downscaled images, obnoxious watermarks, and now jagged gifs.
