a whole lot of this is just her being ridiculously OP and breaking your brain by her mere existence (which is also hot, don’t get me wrong) but i really love the more subtle manipulation in the “it’s not your fault” paragraph. it’s an answer to one of the inevitable bits of cognitive dissonance a mind-controller needs to overcome; the knowledge that you weren’t always submitting, and may have even opposed your owner.

often times making them forget they were ever anything but devoted is a tactic used in this writing but i really like this method. you opposed me because you were flawed (have the weak malleable mind of a silly human) and misled, but your flaw is an inevitability that you don’t have to feel bad about in any way as you learn your mistake and accept the bliss of compliance. It offers a way out of this dissonance that the sub’s ego can stomach while also slyly inserting the idea that they shouldn’t be making their own decisions.
