It in no way would require a title change, all it would take is a grammar change turning the verb "controlling" mother into the adverb "controlling" mother, as in she is controlling him. That being said I am not a fan of femdom, but when done right I appreciate it all the same

Or he just refuses to believe that his invention doesn't work
Or he can't admit to himself that his mother wanted to have sex with him
Or the device only amplifies certain thoughts/feelings, so she did want him, just not that much
It still seems kind of ambiguous to me.

Also if he wanted to have sex with her then be wouldn't have an issue admiring she wanted it with him.
