I want to know why what should be a transparent png looks like this T-T
Because of our resizer. The full image is transparent.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A PRETTY BOTHERSOME BUG
Are there any plans on some kind of fix?

It's not a bug; the resizer makes preview images (except gifs) into JPGs, I assume to save on space. JPGs don't support transparency, so that's why the previews look like that. Clicking "View larger version" or "Download larger version" will display the full image in its original format, so I don't think it's a problem.

Well I understand it's not a bug in the technical sense but still, I usually don't click the view larger thing so it's a bummer regardless.

I'm kinda surprised. I mean, a pic doesn't even have to be very large to get resized, and a lot of PNGs are resized for seemingly no reason. In addition, our previews are rather lossy and add a lot of JPG artifacts to pics. If you want to see the pic the way it was meant to be seen, you should always use "View larger version" or "Download larger version" (which is the image URL).
