From the new Scooby-Doo and Courage the cowardly dog crossover movie. Mind Control is part of the plot, the villains used a signal to brainwash rich people to give them their fortune.

...Didn't the Mad Hatter have a similar scheme?

F it's not that great. To say it's part of the plot is like saying oil is part of a hoagie(hero, sub) I mean it's technically there, but in small amounts that really don't make any difference. No one does anything remotely hot in it.
