Annette is bound to a machine and brainwashed. Her mind is used as a CPU for a biocomputer, servicing the Master System, directing other drones about their tasks and reporting back to the Master System. Though Annette's mind is forced to process vast amounts of information, she still retains her individuality. As processing demands increase, glimmers of her true self start to show through, trying to find help. As a part of her role as the central processing unit, she routinely inspects her own processing output. Should she find her output decreasing, she assigns additional supplementary units to herself, ensuring her permanent, productive role as the Master Systems central processing unit.
