neferpitou’s pronouns are an inconsistent mess between versions of manga/anime translations, needless to say they’re generally thought of as genderless/nonbinary in circles I’m familiar with. he or they is used but I’ve never seen she in official material personally. pitou was much less feminine looking in the manga they very much made the chest less flat for the anime for whatever reason

this is putting aside the question of how meaningful any of this is to literal insects

massive supporter of more pitou art whatever anyone personally wants to call the catbug for the record

More or less the same thing they've been shown to do in any related images here, control "plugged" individuals into servitude. There have been some fun liberties taken, but in the game, all the enemies controlled have power outlet faces, so the wire literally plugs into their face.
