There's this woman who can actively grow copper via her skin pores at will (only very thin layers of a copper film). There was a documentary on her. It's so completely out there that it's unbelievable, but she's done live displays of that capability and has gone through various scientific tests to determine why she can or prove that she can't actually do it. Last I heard, no progress was made in understanding how she did it and no one was every able to prove that it was just a hoax, despite close examination of the process.

I dunno. The crystal thing just reminded me of that. I heard about this years ago, and remember nothing else about it.

In any case, if I had crystals growing on my head, I'd harvest and sell them. :P

If I had crystals growing out of my head, I'd pluck them, make them into necklaces, and people on Etsy would be buying them like crazy.
