This is the toph problem again.
Y'shtola is BLIND. A Visor wouldn't work on her.

Y'shtola 'sees' aether, its magitek. Not an oculus rift screen :) Shes about as blind as Neo is and has senses that can be manipulated via the right instruments, she didn't even recognise the WoL due to the amount of light they were holding for instance.

Not to mention its also interacting with the brain directly.

No it's magic. Not magitek, she's using a spell that feeds of her vitality to see aether. she is completely physically blind and sees people Aether which is their souls. The reason she couldn't tell the WoL from a Sin eater proves her eyes don't physically work.

Y'shtolas ""vision"" is sensitive enough to pick up the types of paints used in a wall by its lingering aether. She could see Amaurot with the rest of the group because it was pure aether. She is blind to the absolute physical, but not magical. And since this is a piece of magitek manipulating her -magical- senses and not an oculus rift with a literal screen the garleans picked up on amazon, (Not to mention whatever else is getting pumped into her brain) I say it works :)

Keep seething about lore in porn though.
