Sometimes she gets a bit disagreeable such a strong will that one but its no worry all she has to do is listen to her king voice, breath deeply of him Just breathe. She needs nothing more then to feel that darkness swirling through her lungs, her king whisper in her ears, there are no worries, no concerns, nothing but that swirling wisp of smoke, and that gentle rumbling voice, telling her.

That's the trouble when the plot involves a villain attempting a resurrection, but it's obvious that should said resurrection succeed, they'd be nearly unstoppable. Ghostbusters 2 had much the same problem: all the hype about Vigo, but they really couldn't let him live (aside from the whole "baby killing" thing) because then you couldn't stop him and where would the plot go?

See also: the current trainwreck that is the Naruto manga. Sombra was a nice bit of history, being another villain for the Alicorn Sisters to take down, but didn't work in a series where the villains have been known for their presence and strong characterization. But he also *couldn't* work as designed.
