Ngl, dont think the story maches with the picture at all. Picture is showing it being outside and raining, story is saying that it is in a police interrogation room

The way I saw it, the picture is Motoko talking to you in the virtual world the VR headset brought you to.

I mean, if you want to get technical and give it just a bit more thought..., The picture shows the outside, but it's NOT actually outside; Mokoto isn't wet. The viewer could easily be sat/restrained inside while Mokoto is stood on a covered balcony. Moreover, if they were in a police interrogation room the viewer would likely know where they were. It's entirely plausible the viewer's been recently captured, being held in some seedy cyber punk tenement, where they're being repeatedly interrogated day after day 'off the books' until they disclose whatever's being demanded... The viewer's memory being wiped at the end of each day.

And that's if you want to assume the image is pre-VR headset, rather than after like PsychoTurnip suggested. ...Or if you feel the need to overthink porn too much, ;P

Either way, I can appreciate it, and am thankful Subject Alpha created and posted it! :D
