This show had a surprisingly large amount of hypnosis in it, so I guess it's easy to forget some scenes. I don't remember this one myself either.

This is actually from the new season. Season 6, Episode 2, Nine Lives. It only happens at the end of the episode.

Indeed, out of the three, sam was always the one with the most unique forms of hypnosis while I think clover's was music related and I don't remember if alex was ever hypnotized.
