The two winning fans pushed eagerly through the crowd and up to the stage. The guitarist flashed a smile as they arrived, waving them over. But just as his mouth opened to say something over the roar of the crowd, something shifted, just slightly, in the music blaring over the speakers. In the din of concert, no one had noticed the subtle additions to the music vibrating through the cramped space for hours. They noticed even less when it shifted.

The guitarist froze in his greeting, body relaxing, expression going limp and vacant, then spreading to a wide, dumb smile as something clicked inside his mind and he sank into a wonderful haze. The fans gave the same wide smile, trotting up to the guitarist and keyboardist and turning to face the crowd. With a happy sigh they lowered their heads to the stage, and spread their legs. The two band stallions stumbled forward, still looking dazed as they grasped the flanks in front of them and started a very different performance.
