Not to be rude but I think that was actually the point lol, Akiko's dynamic was meant to show that Kyou's world isn't at an end because of his actions and that he could still recover and live his life despite his actions, and that people would still like him despite his actions

Sadly for Akiko at least, the current path is still a bad end. But the normal Hiroko routes are sweet I think.
