Settling into its new home, the parasite releases a fluid all over its host. This a highly potent aphrodisiac as well as a source of nutrients. The parasite has full control over the nerves of the subject's genitals. By now, the parasite has begun exploring the host brain to understand its needs.

But due to its primitive intelligence, the parasite views complex thoughts as source of stress or unhappiness. It begins to make itself at home by conditioning its host to think less and be happier.
