Sakura, Tomoyo, and Rika buy new brooches, but Rika's brooch secretly houses the Sword Clow Card. When Rika puts it on, the card takes control of her and attacks Sakura! Sorry if this one is a little long, but it felt pointless to even clip this scene at all unless I included the entire possession time.

So, this is one of those Southeast Asian English dubs I mentioned in another post. Specifically, it's made by Animax Asia, and it's the only English dub of the series that is uncensored (we don't talk about "CardCaptors"). Normally, I stay away from Animax dubs, as their quality tends to be dubious, but at least this clip didn't seem too bad, at least not any worse than most English dubs of kids' shows from the 90s.

@IDPet This is not THAT dub, but yes, this is one of those shows that got such a censored and edited dub, that it was practically not even the same show anymore.

When NIS America licensed this series for redistribution, they actually included this uncensored English dub from Animax as a bonus feature. The old "CardCaptors" English dub has, to the best of my knowledge, not been released on home video since the days of VHS.

The Sword Card Doesn't look like is has any edge, Meaning its only a peircer. This Means you Easily Block is and Yank it out of the Wielder's Hand.

I see, thanks. I'm always interested on investigate localization changes. So Sakura had various english dubs, i didn't know that.
