So... this GIF is 45 MB. I didn't notice that until I tried to upload it and it took a super long time. Since the only difference it has from the other version (which is 90 times smaller) is the water effects, should I delete it?

It does seem a little redundant...
However, deleting it won't do us much good from the file space perspective because we don't have hard deletes enabled. In other words, deletes only flag the image as "deleted" on the database. The images that are deleted are still technically on the server. The point of this is to allow for the admin undelete function and to help avoid people reuploading images that were already uploaded and deleted for whatever reason.

I suppose that, if it were, Slayer wouldn't have let us make the maximum upload size in the hundred MB range, so I guess not. :P
