For anyone who doesnt know Cynthia just wrecked half of Ashs team, Dragonite Gengar and Pikachu, and only lost one of her own.

Well the Dragonite tag on the hub needed to to increase just a bit anyways XD

Yeah I saw the episode too. It would've been nice to see more of Ash's (female) Dragonite in action but hey it is what it is.

I like to think the writers hate "Dragonite" as a pokemon at this point cause everytime a Dragonite is on screen its treated like a lv 5 magikarp. Not just Ash's too, but Lance and Iris's as well

Just wanna say that they've actually treated Ash's Dragonite extremely well for most of the series, contrary to the above comment. This is only the second loss in roughly 110 episodes.

To be very honest, I'd infinitely prefer it if Cynthia wins this, because I think the writers have taken this OP Ash Ketchum wankfest waaay too far by now. I for one have seen fanfictions write that silly idea better and without coming across as blatant careless pandering to win back a crowd.

Not that it can matter anymore now since I recently decided "too little too late" and abandoned the anime for allowing its newly broken protagonist to pull such garbage but it'd be a consolation prize at best.

It's really funny how often Cynthia used hypnosis in this episode considering how much it was done against her in fanart all these years, she's finally getting some payback.
