Duel Masters. such an underrated series. I remember playing it with my yugioh cards. it came at a wrong time.

The 4kids tier dub changing all the script didn't help either. On a side you had yugioh with a more serious plot, and on the other side the "haha, full meme talk" xD.

Wait wait wait... Duel Masters was an actual thing? I saw it referred to on Fiction.Live and assumed it was just a legally distinct version of Yugioh.

Like how in iCarly there was Pineapple or Pear or Banana products.

Or how anime characters go to McRonalds instead of McDonalds

Duel master was a different card game, but they commit a lot of mistakes that turned everything into a failed product.

An anime with a meme dub, freaking awful videogames and low advertsiment.

Right now, Vanguard looks like an better duel masters.

@IDPet You're forgetting, however, that Duel Masters was very successful in Japan, which is what the aim was to begin with. While I'm sure Wizards would have liked for Duel Masters to also do well in the West, that was a lower priority, since the end goal of Masters was to get people into Magic: the Gathering, and the West was already VERY into Magic.
