As much as looking up outside info may be painful, this is a case where you check what the effect is first. This is a case of 'losing the character'.

Look, I'm not saying you should keep posting her with new gear from the set with no hypnosis until people eventually realize that no hypnosis is going to actually happen. I'm just saying that it would be really funny if you did that.

I would say make it to where the status effect on attacks does the hypnosis. Accidental femdom sounds good to me!
