If this is Crying Wolf from Metal Gear Solid - Guns of the Patriots, then what she is in is sort of like the cockpit of a EVA unit or a mech. It is more likely that the red liquid is not blood but a fluid to preserve the body (a common trope in mech anime/tv shows that i dont know the technical term for) and the artist took some creative liberty with it considering that she is a villain/boss and is defeated.
