This is an event from a game titled (Chronicle of the Orwell Kingdom), one of the many "indie" games out there produced with a game-making engine. I decided to translate this scene because I believe it is one of the more unique takes on mind control, as well as being an amazing scene without any sexual connotation or imagery. Sadly this game, like many other indie games, was never finished and has now been lost to time. The amount of Japanese indie games out there that are based on topics such as mind control is surprisingly large, though it is difficult to find them. I will try to share different snippets of the games I have in my collection that I feel are worth showing off.
This translation was created by injecting a script into the game through a program called MTool. Unfortunately it is limited, so certain translations had to be worded in a certain way and there are weird formatting issues in some places. If anyone knows of a better way to create language patches for game-maker games (SRPG Studio, RPG Maker, etc.) please let me know.
@lovewind Yes, unfortunately the current site does not support Japanese characters at all. I tried putting it in my original comment, but sadly it just removes it completely.
@Bloodly The game has 11 chapters, as well as some extras. Many of these games I do not actually play, as I am more interested in the scenes rather than the gameplay. I would estimate between 5-10 hours depending on your skill with TRPGs and if you want to see the different routes.
The game has two special mechanics, a mental health status and two possible corruption stats. Mental health will change the stats of your units in battle, granting buffs if it is kept in good shape and adding debuffs if it falls. There are two different ways that characters can be corrupted, either a "Dark Corruption" or a "Holy Corruption." This scene is one of the dark corruption ones. There are only a handful of dark corruption scenes despite there being a significant amount of holy corruption scenes. Whether there were going to be more/different dark corruption scenes is something we'll probably never get an answer to.
