Based on Digimon Ghost Game episode 55. A Digimon catgirl brainwash all the cats so they can submit humans into body control and turn the tables turning them on the cat's pets and making them do cat stuff (not as "cute" at it sounds, on the episode that was actually creepy xD). In this case I just changed some things and turned the body control into also a mind control, so mind controlled cats are mind controlling humans making them believe to be cats.

still surprising. also, I haven't even watched Ghost Game since before Ruli's partner got his Champion form. actually reminds me of Renamon with how she's taller than her partner as a rookie. also, Rika's japanese name is Ruki.
