Huh. Just like IRL churches I guess.

I like how the last bit of logic is left up for the reader, greed is bad, to money is bad, to give money to the church, to the church is bad.

Although considering that they are brainwashing people I guess you do not need to logic it out.

I know that it feels kinda clich and boring to hear this, especially from a nun of all people, but the church will be eternally grateful if you help us expand!
Even a few dollars could help us greatly in our
endeavor to free the world from the sins of humanity. What sins? Well, I think you should look at me in the eyes and focus on my voice. My eyes and gentle voice. I know it feels weird to focus on them in particular, but please, bear with me for a moment.
Just relax, and keep looking at my eyes. My pretty eyes. And keep listening to my voice. That soft and sweet voice that is entering your brain.
Don't worry about anything else for the moment. Just focus on me and my little requests, okay? Good~!
So, the first thing you must know is that for you to understand what I am going to ask you, is that you should keep an open mind. Free it from the burden of logic and common sense, as the idea of what sin is and what isn't is beyond the logic you used to know. Do you understand? Perfect.
The first Sin one must know very well in our world is Greed.
Greed, that constant parasite that tells people not to give money to those who need it more than them. You understand, right, Mister?
I want you to understand that Greed is bad. That Money itself is bad. You should allow us to share the burden of money with you, and thus, should give us as much as you can of your money. Do you understand?
Repeat after me:
"Money is Greed. Greed is bad. I must give all the excess money I have to this church."
Perfect. Now, keep repeating it a few more times until it sinks in your head.
Very good~! Now, let me remind you; You may have resisted your Greed, but you still have a long way to truly free yourself from the sins of the world. So, here is what you will do; you will forget this conversation. You will feel the desire to give our little church a lot of money, and you will. And finally, you will slowly start to feel so dirty and unclean for reasons you will not recall until you feel the urge to visit our church again to cleanse yourself from your sins.
